The Fashion Bomb Celebrates: Geoffrey Holder

Today's black history salute goes to Trinidadian born actor, choreographer, dancer, artist, and fashion designer Geoffrey Holder.

Holder is best known for his tall stature (he clocks in at 6'6"), booming voice, and distinct features. He was costume director for the musical the Wiz.

Here's one of his creations:

A pink and silver sequined number he made for his wife, Carmen de Lavallade.
Gorgeous.
A flute of champange to Geoffrey Holder (1930-)!
