New Line Alert: ColeyClaire

Happy Vacay Day!
So I wanted to alert you guys to a new, gorgeous, sophisticated line called ColeyClaire (great name!) started by one of my high school buddies...

ColeyClaire, which stands for both designers middle names, is comprised of terribly chic cocktail and career dresses for the young lady with flair. My buddy Kathleen, one of the designers, says, "ColeyClaire is for a stylishly hip girl who feels just as comfortable attending a gallery opening in West Chelsea as she does sipping PBR in the East Village. She loves to look and feel feminine and pretty everywhere she goes, and independently adds her own unique panache."

She continues, "For the spring line we have developed the concept of a young woman hopping towns down the French Riviera. We try to imagine specific scenarios the ColeyClaire woman would attend, and then dress her for the occasion. For example, she would dine with her friends outside at a riverfront cafe, and would slip on a silk red trapeze dress with pockets to carry her belongings."

The designers, who adore trapeze dresses for the summer, and abhor how ankle boots shorten legs, met in college while in art class. Both drawn to fashion, they began sketching designs, and ultimately started experimenting with fabric drape post college. After a stint at Parsons, they launched ColeyClaire in March 2007.

The hot frocks range in price from $300-$500 and can be purchased at Pink Lemonade in Atlanta (404-846-0841) and Rapunzel's Closet in Palm Beach (www.shoprapunzels.com for locations).

See more of their designs and special order by visiting their hot website www.coleyclaire.com.
Smootches!
PS The Bahamian breeze is divine. Wish you were here! xoxo
