The Fashion Bomb Celebrates: CD Greene

Today's Black History tribute goes to eveningwear designer CD Greene.

A native of Chicago, Greene gained attention for his menswear designs. It was his portfolio sketches of designs for women, however, that secured him design jobs with Adolfo and other big-name houses.

Since presenting his first collection in 1988, Greene has come to specialize in dinner suits, black cocktail dresses, and luxurious evening gowns. Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey, Bette Midler, Destiny's Child and Tina Turner have all worn Greene's creations. At the young age 35, he still has a lot to show us. Can't wait to see.
